It's an end of the year extravaganza, and the final podcast of 2008 is a four-man show for added value. Chris, Sam, and Dan are joined by John Neff, and many things are covered over the course of 80 minutes. Of course, the SHO features prominently, and there's a good whack of nostalgia when talk turns to the list of cars that didn't deserve their engines. Maybe we covered some actual news, but we definitely had a great time kicking the ball around on Autoblog Podcast #109. See you next year, and keep those questions/comments/suggestions rolling in to podcast at autoblog dot com.

Here's a little pre-Christmas gift from us to you: Episode #108 of the Autoblog Podcast. It's just Chris and Dan this time around, but we wanted to get at least one more 'cast in before the holidays. It's 51 minutes of fireside chat, touching on the Top Gear/Tesla dustup, Jim Press and his optimism about Chrysler, Toyota's first-ever loss, and, of course, the bailout. Enjoy, and send thoughts and impressions to Podcast at Autoblog Dot Com.

Chris and Sam got back on the Podcast horse this week to bring you Autoblog Podcast Episode #107. They did a great job hitting some news high points earlier in the week, and then we proceeded to drag our feet for an extra day on turning the 'cast around. We'll be faster next week, we promise, but we think we've tied our old record for consecutive podcasts since we relaunched. Let us know what you'd like to hear by dropping us an email at Podcast at Autoblog Dot Com.

Has it really been a month of podcasts already? Alex Nunez and editor Neff join Chris and Dan for Autoblog Podcast Episode 106. Hilarity ensues as we cover the bailout (what else?) and try to touch on a couple other issues before finally deflating like a punctured balloon at the 64-minute mark. Enjoy, and remember to drop any feedback our way at podcast at autoblog dawt com.

If we keep this up, we're going to best our record of six in a row, or whatever it was. The Autoblog Podcast crew returns for Autoblog Podcast #105 with Chris, Sam, and Dan discussing a paltry sweep of subjects as the quiet gathers before the storm of Congressional hearings is unleashed this week. We kept it shorter this week, but that doesn't mean that there's not plenty of witty repartee to go around. Enjoy!

Annnnnnd, we're back. It's a four-man crew this week; Neffie graces us with his presence on this second installment of our relaunched Podcast. Also attending are host Chris Shunk, Sam Abuelsamid, and Dan Roth. Topics range from a post-LA Auto Show retrospective, to the GT-R's acceleration times, official Panamera pictures, and, of course, the gloom in Detroit. It's a tasty hour and nine minutes this time around. Enjoy!

If we were going to continue numbering things, this would technically be Autoblog Podcast #103. We had tried to record this comeback episode once already about three weeks ago, and that turned out to be the only time I've ever toasted an audio file. Pro Tools said "uhh, what?" and that was that - our file was gone. So, before Chris Shunk headed out the door to the LA Auto Show, we sat down and breezed through a few subjects like what's in our respective Autoblog Garages, the new Mustang, the new Mazda 3, the new Lexus RX crossovers, and of course, the situation in which the Detroit automakers find themselves. It's a slightly rambly hour and only a duo this time around, but we're going to do it again soon with a trio, just like old times.

We used to never lose sleep over missing an episode – or three – of The Autoblog Podcast. But as you may have noticed, we've recently rededicated ourselves to the show with a new group of rotating hosts and swanky new graphics. Sadly, it is my duty to report that these changes will be short lived, as The Autoblog Podcast (and The AutoblogGreen Podcast) is going on hiatus. I know, I know, we were in a groove, why derail all that hard work now? The gist of it is that podcasts cost money to make but don't make money. Since there are no sponsors, every episode we record is like blowing our noses with hundred dollar bills. So before auto show season starts, we're going to take a break from podcasting to ensure we can do all the other things that make Autoblog great, like awesome auto show coverage and In the Autoblog Garage reviews. We'll be looking for sponsors in the meantime to take advantage of our audience and their dedicated ears. If you or your company would like to sponsor The Autoblog Podcast or The AutoblogGreen Podcast, give us a holla at podcast at autoblog dawt com.
So for now, thanks for listening, and we'll try not to be gone for too long if we can help it.
It's late, we know, but we're not a host short like last week! Chris, Sam, and Dan kick it about what's in the Autoblog Garage, the 2010 Camaro unveiling and other stuff that the Camaro overshadowed. What could possibly hold a candle to the Camaro officially rolling into that garage bay? Not much, but we touched on Honda's Prius clone fighter, as well as Malcolm Bricklin's legal action against Chery Motors after the breakup, but really, we spent a lot of time kicking the Camaro ball around, as it did happen to be the most excitement you could find without going racing. Hit us up at podcast at autoblog dot com with any questions/comments/suggestions, and thanks for listening!

We busted our humps getting to Podcast #100, and then promptly slacked off. Chris Shunk and Dan Roth make the effort this week to get Autoblog Podcast #101 out the door while the rest of the team remains difficult to corral. The usual banter about what's been in the Autoblog Garage starts us off before we dive headlong into the pithy GM news from earlier this week. Love it? Hate it? Send your comments, suggestions, or anything else to podcast at autoblog daht kahm. Thanks for listening!
